Coming Full Circle...

When I started this business back in 2002, I had no idea that I'd be making insanely over the top designs and working with the awesome clients that I've had the honor of working with at this point in my life. What I knew was that the first time I looked at my little boy, Cristian, there was no way I would be able to go and work outside of my home ever again. To be honest, I was very jealous of the fact that he may actually fall in love with one of his caregivers, and the thought was really just too much to bare! :) I tinkered with a few ideas, and being such a girly-girl, I would always find myself embellishing things...so when I got a cell phone, naturally that was next! Fast-forward to the present and the latest project...the Tama Town by Tamagachi Toys! This was really such a fun, whimsical project! Embellishing 450 toys for their debut in Toys R Us locations across the country. From the moment the 9 boxes arrived, my boys Cristian and Carmelo were stuck by my side, watching as the team and I put together these adorable characters! This was full circle for me...working on a toy project for a major corporation, Bandai of America, knowing that my boys are the reason this all came to be...having them get to watch one of their favorite characters come to life with our company...there are no words to express how great it feels. What I know for sure, is that the simplest ideas can make the most amazing impact! When I was a little girl, my Mommie would always tell me to do what you love. Work hard and never let anyone tell you that your ideas cannot work. Thankfully I listened! Follow your heart, work hard, do what you love, and watch your dreams come true!

Posh.Life @ the Emmy Awards Celebrity Party

La La Land Indeed...Posh.Life was on site again this year for the Emmy's Celebrity Pre-Party bash! Many of the nominees and presenters came out and showed us major love! Felicity Huffman of Desperate Housewives mentioned that Eva Longoria often gives her gifts that she purchases from Posh.Life Bling! <3!

We had the excitement and honor of being amongst some of the hottest, most sought after trends and fashion accessories. And I even had the opportunity to reconnect with some familiar faces and clients...

I received a call from Bravo's New Jersey Housewife Teresa Guidice this week, who was referred to Posh.Life by Luxury Lifestyle expert, Mina Jacqueline-Au. Teresa happened to be at Mina's 30th bday bash, and caught a glimpse of the design we did for Mina just a few weeks ago. And in her words she..."Just had to have one..." Of course, I immediately knew which design was perfect for Teresa. Glamorous, Over the top fabulous, and exceptionally girly...The Socialite...a match made in Swarovski Crystal Heaven...

Swarovski Crystal iPad Bling...

Whenever I think...what will I ice out next...a new gadget is released that I have to get my sparkly little hands on! FYI, I am a GADJET JUNKIE! Obvvv, right? Since I've been into cell phone bling for over 8 years now, it's only natural that I'd have an obsession for gadgets and techie toys. Thank You, Apple, for creating the ipad. It's bad enough that I have two crystal laptops, two crystal cell phones, and a host of other shamelessly blinged out things...
I'd decided there was just no way I was going to buy this iPad, since I do own a laptop AND an iPhone. Seemed rather pointless...but one day I was making my way out of the Hello Kitty store, headed back to my vehicle, when I passed the Apple store...and there it was... The iPad. A huge, blown up version in the window, beckoning to me, taunting..."Tori, you know you want me..." 30 minutes later I was leaving the mall, basking in the excitement of what I was going to do to my new iPad! :)

About two hours later...VOILA!

I must say, I LOVE it! It's definitely far from useless, and it's so much better than trying to view websites on my iPhone. And I don't have to lug my laptop, cords, etc when I'm headed out to meetings or work away from my office. But secretly...well, not so secretly...this is the best part of all!!! The BLING, BLING baby!!
